Have not heard this in awhile. Once again, all these lyrics still ring true today. Scary! Music can change the world! Beatles, Lennon, Pete Seeger, Dylan, U2, Costello, Pearl Jam, Cat Stevens, Nirvana, Joan Armatrading, CSNY, Green day, Richard Thompson, Billy Bragg, Sly and the Family Stone, the Who/Pete Townshend, Joni Mitchel, XTC, Stevie Wonder, Jason Isbell, john Prine, Sam Cook, and way too many others to name, but they stand/stood for all of us! But sadly, so can millionaires who don't care about anybody but themselves. They view us as sheep, and with the government that doesn't care and start wars because they can just do so..... If you don't stand for anything, ya stand for nothing..... ☮️ |
