| My modern order is done!! Only problem if you want to call it that, is I have it marked for pickup by MCS so I have zero idea on the grades!!! Probably send off an e-mail to MCS to let them know my order # that is waiting for them Gonna say with Christmas breaks an all that they won't be picked up till the new year and then I can figure which books to keep vs sell! Was going to maybe get rid of all my superman test logo books but now I'm thinking I'll keep one of each |

| The last Banana promo book was shipped today. An Uncanny X-Men Annual #6 signed by Bill Sienkiewicz. I'm going to see if I can wait until it's delivered to see the grade. The original was graded a 9.4 by the cgc with Sienkiewicz's fingerprints in ink on the back. I have a before picture, so @Nearmint67 will get to see another before and after comparison. |

Books came in Friday, but I didn't have a chance to scan them until today. Neither was in a CGC slab before Bananagate, both were raw. I am content with this. I bought it, read it, tossed it in a long box, moved, and finally bagged and boarded it a year ago. So a 9.6 because of some spine wear isn't terrible.  I am happy with this. |

| So MCS is now processing my banana order!!! Grades and notes not released yet by CBCS but I at least know the grades from MCS!!! How did my guesses do.... Firestorm #61 Test logo - guessed high 9's after pressing - actually 9.2 for both issues Same with Justice League #3 test logo - though high 9's after a press but only 9.2 on both - the spine dings must have been colour breaking so pressing didn't help?? My 2 Marvel Premiere #28's I though would bring 8's - 1 at 8.0 and one at 8.5 -good guesses!! Spiderman and his amazing Friends #1 (direct and news stand) -thought both where mid or low 9 potential with pressing - Direct was 7.0!!!??? (I must have missed something - did it have foxing or a staining on the inside??!!) and News Stand was 9.2!!! about where I hoped a press would bring it I would say all in all acceptable grades - was hoping the test logo books would get higher than 9.2 - but 9.2 is plenty good, Marvel Premieres' ended up right on target as did 1 of the Spidey books - no idea what I missed on the other - bust have been something big because they looked almost identical on a quick glance! Lower graded of each issue will likely be in auction in the near future! |
