I have this copy of Batman 612 sketch already signed by Jeph Loeb. I saw these marks that may look like color rubs. How much would they affect the grade. I wanted to bring it to a Jim Lee signing.![]() ![]() |

I'm a huge Jim Lee fan, but frankly, you may be better off just buying a copy that is already graded and signed by him. You could likely get a 9.8 signed copy for around $150-$200. (How do I know this? Because I've done it myself.) His signature is around $65 on average now. Then you have the press and grading fees -- approximately $40. Then you have shipping. Another $20. And you don't have any gurantee that it's coming back as a 9.8. MCS, ComicLink, and Ebay are my typical sources. But if you're looking more for the experience of meeting him and having him sign something personally with you -- which is great, he's super nice and great with fans -- then maybe buy a 9.8 copy, crack it open and have it slabbed afterwards. Still no guarantee it comes back at 9.8 but the odds are higher -- especially if you include a press. |
