It’s official!!! My wife found a job in Kingman, AZ, so we are leaving Colorado…and good riddance!!! Our house is being built as we speak. We’re here now because she started work today, but I head back Tuesday to start packing up our current home and get it on the market. I thought I would never return to Arizona to live because I grew up here. But a happy wife = a happy life. 🤣🤣 Kingman is a small town, which we like, but there are no LCS’s here. God help me if I have to drive to Vegas. Any fellow board members in Northern Arizona? Know of any comic stores, besides Flagstaff and Las Vegas? I would rather NOT drive to Phoenix. Too crowded and too far…that’s where I grew up. I may have to resort to antique shops. 🤨🤨 |

Sounds like a big climate change as well. Welcome to the dry heat... again lol! Good luck on your new life in AZ. We're now neighbors

@OGJackster Thanks!!! I’ll acclimate to the heat again, but at least winter will be milder. Thirty below wind chill weather the last couple years is another reason for leaving Colorado. The major reasons for leaving can’t be discussed here, but you probably get the gist.

@Galen130 I have a pretty good idea. I have relatives in CO Springs.

Good luck, Galen and wish you the best. I don't blame you for moving due to the inferred reasons. I'm living in Houston for the last 12 years and I like it here but the heat and humidity (and mosquitos) are insufferable. If our plans work out we will retire in Tennessee in a few years.
