Not sure how it will play out but there was a What If story...Demon in an Armor which I believe is the motivation or source of the upcoming storyline.

This was in the spec vid I posted yesterday, but thank you again for sharing the story for those who might’ve missed it! I also agree they might borrow from this story to help explain this stunning reveal.

	ok based on the Fantastic Four: First Steps (official title) trailer/concept trailer/footage shown at San Diego comic con. I have a theory. It looks like F4 will be in an alternate universe as the footage showed it takes place in an alternate futuristic new York city in the 60s. My guess Dr. Doom will come from that universe (explain why he looks like iron man). He will invade the MCU in doomsday and cause an incursion destroying the MCU but he manages to create battleworld for secret invasion. after secret invasion, the fox universe, newly established F4 universe and MCU will become one

	Smacks of desperation to me. IF Disney/Marvel were confident in the product they were releasing you would keep this a secret until the movie was released and have it be a massive in theater reveal Announcing this far in advance just guarantees bums in seats for the 1st movie but not necessarily the 2nd movie and it takes away any sense of surprise...no "I am your father" moment This is bad PR, poor showmanship and only makes me at least question the quality of the film if they need to do this publicity to get people re-engaged....

	I mean it worked for bringing attention. That's the goal and it was mega effective. They probably will end up with an extra 500 million thanks to having this actor and director. Easy money. I would rather watch rdj play all the characters klump style then watch another black panther 2, the marvels, or some other crap movie performance.

	The only alternative time story that I liked was the original Days of Future Past. I never cared for time travel or alternative universe writing in comics or television shows. It has a tendency to get overwrought and overly complicated. So the multiverse and all these infinite realities are a big pass for me. Time travel, the lazy writers best friend. That and... you mean it was only a dream?
