Second time I had a slab returned with a note meant the people printing label. Last time was to remind them to include what variant. Note read “use midtown variant” This time on a facsimile of ultimate fallout #4. Note as follows I guess the facsimile supposed to have a different title which wasn’t used I don’t care. Comic is called ultimate fallout. It has “facsimile” where it needs to be. So not like I could try and convince its a 1st print |

Yeah, sometimes it's just the principle. I sent in two books to be signed and slabbed and when I got them back, their labels were swapped. I considered not doing anything about it, because I plan to keep the books forever anyway, but I spent a lot of time and money for the whole process. So, I emailed them and they emailed me a shipping label so I could send them back. Got them back correct in about 2 weeks. |

Feel too much of a hassle to ship back. Not like it’s incorrectly labeled as a 1st printing. Keeping as such Yours were label swaps, big difference |

Wade_Story who works for cbcs confirmed my theory. offered if I ever change my mind he'll provide a shipping label to ship back for free for correction and on the other one. seeing how the notes don't affect the label too much (its fine as long as has right title in my mind, the correct edition, variant, grade. is good.) I find them actually funny. |

The CGC uses “Ultimate Fallout: Facsimile Edition #4”. I’ve seen CBCS use “Ultimate Comics Fallout #4 “. yours is still labeled as a facsimile and probably technically correct (aside from the “use” note) since it is in fact a facsimile of Ultimate Fallout #4 and not part of any of “Ultimate Comics” series’s. |

Quote:Originally Posted by HulkSmash I agree, as long as it says "facsmile" does it matter? I'm going to keep as is. Still feels fine. not like its incorrectly listed not as facsmile. ultimate fallout is only facsmile with a different title than title on cover what would you do? even if I do agree to send it back for correct label, Id have to pay for the box to ship it end, bubble wrap, do the process of wrapping it. etc (they'll send me the shipping label) |

maybe if at a convention they agree to let me send it back to them through there. I don't care to do it right now. Wade_Story said offer stands if I ever change mind. maybe it will apply if I give it to them in person if it was a mistake like I submitted "Darth Vader: Dr. Aphra #1 Halloweenfest edition" and it came back as "Darth Vader #3" with the note "use Darth Vader: Dr. Aphra #1 Halloweenfest edition". that would be different |

wade_story said I could give them it at a convention. next one I might attend is in Feb (a mini con they attend). the mistake isn't too much of a big deal I can live with. but probably be best to let them correct it if it wont cost me anything. its not a rehold, its them correcting their mistake so makes sense they'll do it for free | ||

Quote:Originally Posted by HulkSmash that's my thought. I personally don't know why its given title of "ultimate comics fallout" when that's not the title. It still says facsmile edition which is the info besides the grade that matters. wade_story said if I ever change my mind, I can drop it off at any show they are at and they'll send back (unless they do on site grading) to correct free of charge. Next chance Ill have to do so is in June for a mini con, so will have plenty of time to consider |
