President SteveBorock private msg quote post Address this user
It's fun to share what everyone is reading! I love sharing what I am reading and see what my fellow hobbyist's are reading. This way I, and others, get a chance to find great new reads. Rate the trades you are reading, but please, no spoilers.

I have just finished:

Djanjo/Zorrow. Fantastic!

Injustice: Gods Among Us (Up to Year Three, Vol.2). Love it!

Walking Dead Vol. 21. Still great!

Names (Vertigo). Very good, not great.

Jupiter's Circle & Jupiter's Legacy. Both were great!

Superman/Wonder Woman Volumes 1&2. Good, not great, but cool concept.

American Vampire, Final trade? Fantastic, as always!

Fables Vol. 22. The end? Great! Sorry to see it go :-(

Joker's Endgame. Pretty darn cool!

Deadly Class Volumes 1,2 &3. Lots of fun!

Wolverine: Old Man Logan. Great!

Astro City: Victory. Always one of my favorite reads! This one is great as well!

Batman- Detective Comics (New 52)Vol 5. Love the new Bat books!

Thief Of Thieves Vol. 5. Fantastic!!!!

There are many others I will list, but stating this thread with the ones I remember.

Please join in!

I'm reading The Flash new 52 and also going back and reading some of the older Flash books 105-140.

I need to check out the New Batman stuff too. I did read the New 52 batman up to about issue 10.

I'm still reading Walking Dead monthly...haven't read the latest issue though

I'm in the process of reading Batman New 52, also. Got through the first two trades, then put it aside for something else. Unfortunately, I tend to do that

I've just recently started reading comics more often and always heard that Batman: The Killing Joke is great, so I finally picked up the Deluxe Edition and I loved it. Now I'm waiting for the animated film.

Up next is Moon Knight: From The Dead, it just arrived in the mail.

I have an enormous stack of TPBs that have piled up over the last year or so I need to read. I did read Secret Avengers and honestly did not think I was going to like it, but wound up digging it.

Black Beetle VOL 1 - Now Way Out
This is just phenomenal stuff. Francavilla is my favorite person in comics right now and this was my introduction to him. The art and the story are wonderful and I cannot wait for the Black Beetle to return. I read this every 6 weeks or so and just got done again.

Inhumans - Silent War
Gave it a once through as this was from the 10 years or so that I wasn't collecting or actively keeping up with comics. Love the Inhumans and well, them VS everyone seemed like a no brainer.

Thanos - Cosmic Powers
Just starting it as, while I love Thanos, the wife is particularly enthralled sooooo yay!

Thanos - Infinity Finale
It's kind of fitting the wife is into Thanos as I'm a Warlock fan and the whole Infinity arc encompasses both characters. I love the Infinity stuff and this "final" trilogy to it all has been fun [I mean, a rightfully bad ass Annihilus? COME ON] and the conclusion [last page] makes me wonder and truly excited for the Warlock character going forward.

Technically not a trade, more in OGN territory. I read Wonder Woman earth one by Grant Morisson and Yannick Paquette. I loved the Batman earth one books so I thought I'd check this one out. The art is fantastic. However the story was just ok. I'm mostly unfamiliar with Wonder Woman but from what I understand this pulls heavily from her Golden Age origins.

I picked up a Marvel Secret Wars Battleworld Box Set a couple of months ago and I'm just now beginning to read through all the books that are in it.

Also up are the Library Editions of Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 8.

Lots of reading for me in the future.

I also read the Fables issue #150 (FAREWELL, or volume 22), although I didn't follow the series on a regular basis.

I still prefer the monthly books (mostly delivered via Westfield Comics once a month); my oldest daughter, however, very much prefers the trade paperback to the monthlies (different generations, I guess).

I have followed Astro City since the series inception (again, still the monthlies) and enjoy that series quite a bit.

The Astro City stuff (I LOVED IT when it first came out and am currently a subber of the monthly from Vertigo) and will probably get the trades all in one shot this Christmas.

I want to get the Annihilation arc as well but people are waaaay to proud of it and I don't ever win the auctions.

Recently read:

Jem and the Holograms Vol.1 - Fun read
Captain America (2013) Vol.1 - okay read though not Remender's best work.

Still banging away at the Fantagraphic Mickey Mouse hard covers. I just absolutely love Floyd Gottfredson's Mickey Mouse.

Up next: All-New X-men/Guardians of the Galaxy: Black Vortex. Usually I am not a fan of Bendis' mainstream hero stuff but All-New X-Men vol.1 was good.
