Nacho dip doesn’t lend itself to a photo mostly because it looks like a mix of puke and diarrhea. Man is it good though. No Lions game today so I made a batch and used salsa I made last weekend instead of bought salsa or Rotel.

I also did a corn bread from @DrWatson. I added a little jalapeno maple bass pro seasoning to the mix and on the top. I used two jalapeño’s as well, it’s so good.

It's nice to see you eating bread that's been properly browned.

I think it’s the seasoning I sprinkled on before it went in. I have 23 minutes wrote down for my skillet and only did 25.

Orange chocolate chip scones. I improvised the regular recipe and ened up with a looser dough than normal. That's why these don't have as straight of an edge as the other ones.

My opinion of frozen pizza borderlines on not good, to meh. As much as I like pizza I’d sooner not eat any than eat a frozen. Every now and then I’ll give one hell to try to talk myself outta my opinion. The screaming Sicilian I had a year ago was maybe C+ to B- which is actually pretty good since the rest are D-‘s.

Giving this one a go in a bit.

Tried one a while back on recommendation. I wasn't all that impressed.

For the price difference, I stick with Red Baron when they go on sale for $2.99. Except for the four cheese, that one sucks monkey balls. 🐒

Going back to my childhood any "4 cheese" does.

It's nostalgic, but doesn't actually taste that good. It's better than Tony's.

Kroger carries Simple Truth Oraganic Ultra Thin cust pizza. The four cheese in it was really good, but the price went sky high in comparison to other brands and I stopped buying it.

It was a banner year for basil, so my wife made a nice pesto sauce.

I thought Tobasco sauce was similar to Champagne...in that Champagne comes from an area in France and everything else is sparkling wine. Tobasco sauce is made in an area in Louisiana and everything else is a type of hot sauce.

well..that may be.... but if I make a hot sauce from tabasco peppers you can't tell me that it's not tabasco sauce!!!

Now to be fair...I will not be fermenting and barrel ageing for 3 years....I will ferment my peppers though for at least 2 weeks...maybe a few months???

I wonder if I added liquid smoke if that would approximate the flavour of barrel ageing for 3 years.....if I have enough for 2 batches I might need to test it out!!!

Oh yeah, for sure....I don't even know if what I stated is true...just more a point of interest than anything else. I'm sure your sauce will turn out great....let us know how you make out.

I love Tobasco sauce...above all others..including Franks. Tobacco is perfect heat level with tons of flavour.

It’s my wife’s birthday today, so I took her to a diner that we had never tried before (a diner is our usual go to place for breakfast or lunch, no matter where we are). My french toast was excellent.
