We got our garden going over the weekend. I know it’s not much but it seems like more and more work every year. Maybe it’s because I didn’t do my work in the fall with the plot or the compost.  After almost ten years of service my picnic table raised bed had it. Here’s the bare spot with white trash plantings for now. Word on the street is there is going to be an 8x2x2 raised bed there but it sounds like work to me. We’ll see how much ambition there is around here.  |

My wife usually makes this in the oven. Last night I used the oven instructions but put it in the smoker. It didn’t catch much smoke in 40 minutes but it was good.   |
