| All CGC needs to do is make a few polarized light tables Pass all books coming in in slabs through the table and look for obvious signs of tampering. Test twisting etc your slabs to see what "normal" stresses look like when polarized and look for something not 'normal' - I'll take my consulting fee now thanks!!! "Polarized light reveals stress patterns in clear plastic. When certain plastics are placed between two pieces of polarizing material, their stress patterns become dramatically visible in a brightly colored display." |
