I don't want to brag, but cashiers are always checking me out. power_struggle55 private msg quote post Address this user
I found a sealed copy of the vhs of The Two Towers. Looks to be in pretty good condition (still has the store stickers on it)

If I were to grade it. How much would it cost?

I'm not suretyat CBCS grades VHS, but it looks like Beckett might. Their website says $40 for standard grading, but I'd expect they'd charge to ship it back to you. I'd guess that will be about $25, plus you'll want to ship to them, so I'd guess about $10 for that.

There also appear to be add on services available, light cleaning for $5, sticker removal for $10, etc.

All told, if you set aside $75-100, you'll probably be all set.

And cassette tapes, too! You can grade so many things nowadays. The question then, is there a market for them?

For when someone starts grading them I have a sealed David Bowie 8-Track left over from my Camaro days.

True story.
Don't laugh.

Be kind. Rewind. Yeah I have some nostalgia for VHS tapes as I grew up with them but I have no urge to purchase any slabbed films.

I remember all the video rental shops had saloon-style swinging doors in the back and an “18 and Over” sign. Must have been where they sell the cigarettes or something.

I think thats where they had the wrestling videos...that had weird characters

But the VHS tape was $1 at the local Habitat for Humanity. I felt even if never watched...keep stickers and plastic on...good collectors' item
