I don't see anywhere what the methodology is. I suspect the activity of the top contenders is ringing some bell of performance. Key Comics would probably consider their analytics to be proprietary, not likely to share.

As it stands, it's only 1 company's opinion.

It is a typo, you can see above they show a 9.8 sale for $3,800, not a 9.4. Looking closer I can see that these books are 1-5 on the “CGC Monthly Report”, in reverse order. I just can’t find any info on what qualifies a book for their ranking onthe CGC Monthly Report. The cynical side of me wonders if it has something to do with how CGC sales prices compared to CBCS sales…after the results were known.

No oversight, no proofing, no accuracy to begin with, and no accountability. Everyone just chalks it up as 'My bad".
