If these are the clear acrylic backing board, then yes, I have tried them. They fit just like a regular backing board in a mylar, and is very sturdy. I don't know how safe they are for books long term, but I usually use these for books that have front and back cover, or some of my more valuable books so I can see the back cover without pulling it out of the bag. Before I slip a book into the mylar/board combination, I usually put the book in a 2 mil mylite so that the book isn't actually touching the board and then put the board and mylite into a 4 mil mylar sleeve. | ||

They're also a lot cheaper at $30/25 pack vs $28/10 pack. Although, they are 1/4 of a millimeter thinner. Which is really nothing. I can't vouch for any, as I've never bought a book for it's back cover. I just use regular fullbacks and slabs. |
