Where were you living back then? I've been in Pacifica, California since 1967, about the time my dad bought it.

Southern Ontario (Niagara Peninsula) in Canada - has to have been a big box hammer -Sears was awesome back in the day (Craftsman tools)....mind you..my dad went to art school at CalArts (before it was called CalArts) in the late 60's...who knows...maybe he brought it back with him?

I would like to confess something to my Canadian friends. I bought my first case of beer ever and first bottle of booze from the LCBO in the summer of 1999. And then two more years before I could here, GO CANADA!!!!!!

yuk....Niagara Falls - You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

I worked as a lifeguard at 2 of the hotels on Clifton Hill like 30+years ago
Then as prepcook and occasional pantry chef at Hard Rock Cafe in the the casino and later as JR auditor for the same hotels I was a life guard at - sadly only work 15 minutes from the falls now!

Fun fact - one side of Clifton Hill has been owned by the same family since like the 1920s -they basically just print money!
The other side is 2 families - well I think one is corporate thing now...one of those families ran a TV repair company for all the hotels...and somehow got the contract to run the casino...very "wise" guys to pull that off.....
