| I just got a copy of Pep #89 from My Comic Shop. Their Ebay listing read: "Pep Comics #89 VG- 3.5 1951 1st app. Midge". However I looked it up on Google and they state: "Midge Klump, a fictional character in Archie Comics, first appeared in Betty and Veronica #4 and Jughead #5 in April 1951". The website "Archie Comics Wiki" says: "She was originally created simply to serve as Moose's girlfriend, debuting in Betty and Veronica #4 and Jughead #5". Google says she first appeared in April 1951, but the PEP #89 is dated January 1951. So who is right, My Comic Shop or Google? | I think the MCS Pep comics 89 listing date might be a mistake. It goes from #88 Nov 1951 to #89 Jan 1951 to #90 March 1952 I would think #89 should say Jan 1952 based on this and of course the 1952 on the cover. I would also go with the Wiki  Also Pep 83 has Jan 1951 on the cover  |
