    just looking for your opinion of which copy you would prefer to have in your collection, the top copy is what I currently have, it presents better but the massive water stain primarily on the back. Both copies have little to no marvel chipping, which is amazing. The top copy has better page quality but then again, massive water stains. I'm happy to own either copy but torn on which copy. Thanks in advance for your opinion |

| If I had to make a choice for a copy of an important key comic that was within my means and all things being equal, particularly price range, I would pick the one that presents better. This means I would choose the one that has less damage in the front compared to the back. The first one you have looks really good barring some of that water damage in the left top corner. The second looks like it was exposed to the sun and faded a bit overall, but that could be the lighting. It really depends on what aspects are most important to you. Good luck with your choice! |

| Seems like the preference of the majority so far is to prefer normal "wear" over "damage". I agree with the group, I would prefer the second copy. Probably because the water damage is not completely contained to the back, it shows on the upper left cover of the front as well. | ||

| If money isn't an issue, I've always been a fan of multiple copies of books. While it isnt always feasible, it seems like you have the books and time, just keep them both and call it a day. Let your heirs figure out what they like best. | ||

| #1 has superior color saturation Unfortunately it also experienced water saturation… I’d keep #2. The mold on #1 (black on back cover) is pretty extensive and you can see the water stains on the left side of the front cover (top and bottom). To me this is a really easy choice. |

| Don't Buy Either One!!! They are both pretty 'fugly' Who needs a little hole in Spidey's abs? in even the nicer copy! There are 282 other copies in CGC 3.0 and another 33 CBCS 3.0 Unless owning a copy of Amazing Fantasy is a dying wish, there are superior copies and probably several for sale very soon. Most recently, April 29 sold for $25,200 Prices are going down in 3.0 according to GPA. A slightly higher priced 3.5 copy would present much better. There are 253 CGC copies in 3.5 and another 19 CBCS. Lots available and prices are also declining in 3.5. Most recent sale was $29,900 Feb 20. If you can wait a bit, a 3.5 may be for sale that fits your budget.  |
