Even though only four copies these are ridiculous condition wise. A Treasury size black cover with white pages and sharp corners is amazing. Especially when bought straight off the distributor and never made it to the news stands to be damaged.

As soon as one was priced I bought a copy, then a week later I bought another copy. $55 each plus tax.
Another regular bought the third copy.
A couple months later a copy was still there with the manufacturing error of the folded center page and I bought that copy too.

Here's the pic of the first two.
Just 50 year time capsule stuff going on there.

I COMPLETELY understand how this one's your favorite. I wasn't lucky enough to get a copy of this one but I bought two of the Supes vs. Spidey treasury.

Right. There were lots of great books to pick up. I bought about 40 books but there were still plenty more for others. I'm glad lots of folks got to get some. It was a great ride.

I know I've totally enjoyed this ride. Kinda like an "E-ticket" from DISNEYLAND!!

Makes you wonder if there are more hidden collections like this out there?

@southerncross Just curious... have you noticed whether any of the high-end books that Alan had graded came back as bananas?

I didn't notice any of them being bent inside the cases.

Good. It would be such a shame to have such really nice books damaged... and on his first CGC submission, too.

@southerncross That Spidey Super Stories 37 is nice. Never seen that one. I like the White Tiger. Great pick ups as usual...

Because there was three marvel spotlight 5s.
They mislabeled those and the 9.4 was put in the correct case and the 9.2 was put inside the 9.8 case and the 9.8 was put inside the 9.2 case.
You'd think with a $300k book they would have had someone of authority overseeing the complete process.
