Does CBCS not provide updates to the status of your order still? I haven't received a single update as of yet

I’m not sure. They received my items April 19 and I also have not received an update when I log into my account. Mine just says processing, but I did not pay for anything to be done quickly so I don’t know if I’m still getting cleaned and pressed. Before signature variation and grading. It’s my first time it has been six weeks for me. I know that doesn’t help.
A few of my items are from the mid 80s, so they fall in the 30 day category and 30 days is going to be six weeks of workdays. So I will probably reach out in another week or two if l Haven’t received an update by then.

Determining exactly where an order is in the CBCS pipeline can be tricky, but the dashboard "Print Invoice" gets you the closest. (Usually anyway, hence the "can be tricky" comment.)

The subject of receiving notifications of order status changes has also been a sore spot for others (and myself) at times. However, our last four orders (over the past four months) have all come with the expected notifications so hopefully they've got the issue permanently resolved.

You could always ask customerservice@cbcscomics.com but I can't speak to how responsive that avenue might be at the moment. And if all else fails, the guy that started the Community Engagement thread would probably help if asked nicely.

Our recent VSP/Press/Grade order took 74 calendar days (52 business days) from start to finish.

@MRxKRINKLE Howdy, welcome to the forum...
As @figment mentioned, it's tricksy...
Depends on what your book is having done.
If it's grade only with no grade screen, no press, you should receive a "received" email within a few weeks. If you have not heard from them in a few weeks, then reach out to them at customerservice@cbcscomics.com and Chance or Cynthia will get back to you.
Grading is usually a 4 to 8 week process if no ad-ons.
So try to be patient and remember....

Time is on your side...
