| If you have not bid on MyComicShop (MCS) auction items in the past, they are NO Reserve auctions with $1 start bids. If you do not have funds on credit with them, they do charge a small 3% buyer fee. Their shipping is extremely secure (best that I have seen) and starts at a very reasonable $7. Shipping is most definitely not a profit center for MCS. For fellow forum members who have items in this auction, please feel free to post comics, magazines, and artwork that you have in this weeks auction here in this thread. | 6 books in this weeks MyComicShop weekly auction,with my top pick being a..... ]Marvel Team Up #11 Mark Jewelers + Mennon Double Insert Variant ......which is at a whopping bid of ONE DOLLAR, as I type this. 4 MCS users have added this book to their want list on the past 6 months, this book is AFAIK a NEW DISCOVERY, I have been unable to find any other copies or info on this book other than the 4.5 copy in auction and the 6.5 copy I have on consignment at MCS available BIN/BO..... a bid was placed very shortly after the auction began.....    [/b]I'm one of those 4 that added this variant to their MCS want list in the past 6 months, FWIW. I was the first to add this book to my want list, actually. 1) Marvel Team-Up #11 DOUBLE MARK JEWELERS INSERT VARIANT - MARK JEWELERS + MENNON INSERT VARIANT - SPIDEY, AVENGERS & FANTASTIC FOUR STORY....a lotta bang for an original cover price of 20 cents!! :cheers: Direct auction link: https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?ItemID=60161285 MyComicShop grades this book at 4.5 & notates "residue" in the graders' notes. I bought this 4.5 copy from my MCS want list notifications and had it held for consignment...than I snagged the 6.5 copy a week or 2 later that MCS listed and that's currently listed on MCS, as soon as I got the notification, and had the 6.5 held for consignment. Note that both the 4.5 and 6.5 copies have a graders' note of "residue", which given the time between MCS' listing/original purchases of mine and the specific notation of "residue", it's reasonable to assume both books came from the same collection. I mention this primarily because the 6.5 copy has a back cover scan, so you can see for yourself what constitutes a notation of "residue" by MyComicShop graders, here: https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?ItemID=60161309 You tell me where the "residue" is, or what "residue" even means, I give up.:wavingwhiteflag: Double Insert Variant.
