| Hi all! First CBCS submission and I ponied up and sent 8 modern/new books via the "Express" tier which showed a 10-business day turn around. Entered into the system on 12/11. As I remove weekends and Christmas Eve it seems I'm over the TAT of 10 business days. There is some fine print stating the Express tier is guaranteed. Anyone have experience with the guarantee or is it fake news? 2 books have been in the QC stage (modern) and 6 have been in the Grading stage. Naturally, I'm assuming/hoping the CBCS crew is off today/tomorrow for the holiday. Happy New Year! |

| Welcome to the forum!! I remember CBCS guaranteeing their TAT on the Express tier. If the guaranteed TAT has passed, I would send an email to customer service requesting them to comment. Good luck!! Happy New Year!! |

| @cinnamon I had an order arrive there on the 20th. We'll see when it gets received. I sincerely doubt, based on prior experience, that CBCS has any sort of formal FIFO mechanism. | ||

| @ComicNinja0215 I got mine back early December (no press). Waiting on my separate invoice that had a VSP, which will take longer. If you had books that required signature verification or pressing this may be why it’s taking longer. |

| So when does the turn around clock starts on your submission? "The typical turnaround time for a CBCS signature authentication is around 30 business days" I imagine the clock starts once they charge your credit card? |

| @GothamBridge It should start when it is marked as received. I will admit that I have little experience with comic grading and more with trading cards but that is how TAT works elsewhere. Currently I am sitting at Day 21 of a 15 day TAT for just a reholder. | ||

| My Holiday24 shipment was received on December 23 and entered pressing yesterday. @GothamBridge ROMAD is right -- TAT starts when it's marked as received and entered into the system. In my personal experience, there often isn't much change until right close to the TAT, and then suddenly it whirls through grading, encapsulation and shipping. Right now I have multiple submissions that were pressed and are now back in the "Received" status that are approaching the TAT. I'm interested to see if the TAT holds up considering all the promos they've been running. |
