Two more NYCC books to go, both CGC crossover books. Fingers crossed it's today.

My Priority order that arrived at the office on 11/01 hasn't hit received yet. Hoping to get it back by Christmas as there's a present for my son in there (Alex Ross Batman #1 homage, signed).

I'm going to say that this is not unusual. I sent in a 4 book order 2 for pressing. The first two went from received to "imaging" to received again. The ones for pressing went from "received" to " press" to "received." So, received seems to be comics' waiting room. If I calculated correctly, my books should take about 2 and a half months to complete; they've been there for about 1 and a half months. The reason is the combination of services that I've requested. I won't enter my "concern" stage till about the 1st week of January. I'm still crossing my fingers that I will hear good news before Christmas, but not holding my breath.

Wow. What day did you originally submit those? Sounds like the Banana promo must have been a big winner for CBCS.

This has been my past experience as well, but mine for this particular order haven’t hit received yet. I’m still on submitted (invoicing on the tracker).

My last couple of orders were “Received” within a couple of days of delivery (my most recent order was received the day it arrived and went to the pressing room the same day). That was just a standard order.

So I’m thinking they must have received cases of bananas.

I'd say it was. These landed there in early October. I guess it's the norm considering NYCC was the same time.

I hadn't yet as I was trying to get a read on what others were experiencing currently due to recent volume. He's been very helpful in the past.

Anybody got an average time for heat seal? Mine appear to have been stuck there for about 10 days now.

Reach out to @Wade_Story in the community engagement thread. That's why he started that thread, for when things don't make sense.

My last submission went from heat seal to completed within a couple of days

The other guys have 115+ days for vintage not including press time. What are opinions on TAT for vintage with CBCS?

@Vrishnak I recently did several vintages books (no pressing) and they were completed and returned within 30 days....
It's much faster when you don't have to wait for the time it takes to turn books into bananas.

It takes a little longer to turn bananas back into books.

A 31 book submission, pressing and grading, was mailed on August 31st. It was shipped back November 25.

Don't get me started lol. I have multiple 18 to 25 book subs with the other guys and thanks to their wonderful but ill timed promotions I doubt I'll see them before the end of the year.

Got multiple submissions pending, mostly thanks to a bunch of banana books and some good CBCS promos.

First submission was received on September 18 and was just logged as "shipping" this morning. It's 3 modern books with pressing. That's 47 business days, so still within TATs.

One of the three books was a banana slab, so fingers crossed I get the same grade.

Books officially shipped today. The 1 banana book dropped from 9.8 to 9.6, which was not surprising. I never thought the book would be a 9.8 in the first place, but, of course, it still stings after seeing it graded with a 9.8 and then having it come back lower. The line between 9.8 and 9.6 is very thin, IMO.
