Maybe they've realized that it keeps most of the nut jobs at bay. What if they've discovered pain-in-the-ass repellent and just now realized it? Best excuse I've heard not to change.

The good thing about most of the moderators here is that they are familiar with the cgc boards and who the serial troublemakers are over there.

Given that information, there is no "learning curve" on their behavior. I feel that they would get the boot fairly quickly if they arrived here with all their baggage in tow.

Just an idea, maybe they started to tie user accounts to see who spends dollars with them. I wonder if the troublemakers that don't will see more moderation action.

I have an idea...how about not labeling people "serial troublemakers", recognizing that not everyone sees things the way you might, and treating everyone with a basic level of respect?

Nah. Too much work.

The notice I received on the CGC Board was...You are only
allowed to upload 450.56kb.
I have no idea what "kb" my FLICKR images are and how to
make them compatible...or if it's even worth the effort.

mm

Nah. Too much work.

You have a pattern of aggression that Architect from the cgc boards has pointed out more than once. Repeat it here and you will banned. Period.

That is your opinion, and one not shared by all. Thankfully, you're not a moderator here, and neither is "Architecht."

You have a pattern of aggression that has been pointed out by others, that you have carried on for years. Will you be banned?

I hope not. Banning people is never the answer. Period.

It's not just my opinion:

Instead, what's happened is that over a long period of time a variety of different moderators and admins have been on the receiving end of your activities and the complaints about them, and most reach similar conclusions about your style of interaction.

It's not a coincidence. It's not an isolated moment in time. It's not confined to one or two people who just don't get you and are ascribing motives and intents you don't have. It's a particular posting style that you have cultivated that shows a strong pattern of conflict that is recognized repeatedly by many people.

If you weren't conflicting with people on a regular basis you would not be on my radar at all. Each time moderation has to handle one of your dust-ups, moderators come in, define an appropriate response and move on. They reconnect with you because you keep re-triggering.

There are definitely supporters who like interacting with you, and it's generally acknowledged that you are a knowledgeable comics poster. If those things weren't true, and all moderation had to go on was your negative interactions then you would have been banned long ago.

You aren't without merit or friends, RMA. You are just polarizing when you don't really need to be and that has a negative effect on the boards.

Try bringing the value you bring without excessive discord. Neither myself nor moderators will spend time looking at your posts if they aren't crossing lines, accumulating notifications and generating PM complaints.

Literally no one else has your track record or demands as much consistent moderator attention.

Why are you aggressively trying to start a fight?

That is his opinion. His opinion is wrong, and provably so.

Hashing it out here is not appropriate, and overt hostility and aggression on your part.

I suggest you cut it out. You're doing the very thing you're complaining others have done.

You are the one who responded to my post. I have made a concerted effort to avoid your posts. You picked the fight. You started it on another board and brought it here.
