Great book! Since I would just keep it raw so I could read it, I'm curious about your motivation to slab it. I assume you're not planning to sell it.

Thanks! I'm sending it in because I think I have a pretty good example, and I'm wondering what it will come back as. I definitely plan on keeping it and adding it to the collection that I will leave my son one day though.

It's a popular Atlas color! I think every Marvel/Atlas PCH collector admires it!

I’m going to cross-post this recent pickup from the Boston ComicCon ‘cause nobody likes the Romance thread anyway. Then again, nobody seems to like the Atlas thread either.

So many of these are awesome and gave me ideas of things I'd like to have that I didn't even know existed. Love (from an art and sorta history perspective) especially the ones like Combat, Battlefield etc. Keep posting guys; enjoying your collections and dreaming.

Just picked up my first Atlas book and I don't think this particular one has been posted in this thread yet. Would like a little better quality but books much above this are both hard to find and pricey. I'm very happy with this one though although it will need to be sent in to be relabbed I believe. The sides of the slab are split and you can sorta pry it apart. Not far enough to get the comic out and the tabs aren't broken so don't think there is any funny business but it squeaks and bothers me.

It's supposed to be that way, it's only fastened at the top and bottom.
