The short lived pre-code comedy-horror genre:

@catrick339 I had a Monkey and Bear once that I sold. I miss it since it’s such and oddball title, but funny animal isn’t really in my wheelhouse. Bill Everett is though!

Atlas published a LOT of stuff.

They also published EYE in a tabloid format. I ran across a couple issues years back, huge Atlas bullet on the cover. THAT finally solved the mystery for me, why a late 1960's mag would have a miniature Spidey 42 glued to the front cover. Martin Goodman had resurrected the title again.

Ye olde Atlas disembodied eyes.

Here's a non-creepy one, with a nice use of a limited palette:

Yeah, I like the disembodied eye covers. A decent copy of Astonishing #30 is high on my radar.

I need one myself. My LCS had one last year, but budget dictated I choose between that and a Cap #78. The Cap has been less common in my travels and I wasn't 100% sure if the Astonishing was without resto, too.

And 12 issues later the Two-Gun Kid would be re-tooled again.

Great book! Since I would just keep it raw so I could read it, I'm curious about your motivation to slab it. I assume you're not planning to sell it.
