My buddy Bob Wayne just notified me that the legendary cartoonist and Will Eisner Hall of Fame member Trina Robbins has passed away at 85. Among her many contributions to the culture she designed the Vampirella costume used on Warren's first issue painted by Frank Frazetta. She was also a ground breaking female underground comix cartoonist. I'm sure others will add commentary about her long list of contributions to comics. So long Trina, may your next adventure be as rewarding.  |
