I am guessing back to 20,000 for 1099-K online sales and everything else will remain at 600 other than certain professional services such as attorney fees, accounting etc. I was waiting for it to pass before doing my Continuing Education requirements this year.

I have a chance to buy these signatures. The Ditko looks okay to me, just the crossing of the Ts looks a little bit high. Also the Lee looks a bit wonky to me. Any input or feedback on looks real or fake would be appreciated!

I bought a coverless book and expected it to be coverless. The facsimile cover was taped on the stupid book. Do I try and take the cover off or do I send in as is?

Seeing as how I haven't seen a thread complaining about turnaround times in months, I'd say CBCS isn't too backed up with work and they might offer a promo soon. I'd wait for now and also reconsider if it's worth it to pay the vintage tier fee for any books older than 1975.

To me the vintage tier is only worth it if you're confident the book will be worth at least $150 after slabbing and even then you might make more selling it raw.

Swamp Thing (1972 1st Series) 7 CGC 7.5 (non-banana slab) recently sold for $50 on Ebay.

The older ones I'll probably just send off to MCS for consignment. The main reason I like the CBCS idea is because MCS can just pick them up after grading.
Otherwise I'd probably just send them off to CGC

Send them to the cgc and let us know the percentage of books that come back with banana bends.

😆 Haven't had any yet. I'm not a big grader by any means but the last batch of 6 I sent in came back fine.
I'll go wherever the money is greater 👍

When did pressing hit mainstream?

More to the point I have a book that was slabbed in october 2004 what are possibilities it was pressed?

Possible, but not likely. The BSDs weren't pressing Swamp Thing 37s back then.

There was pressing going on, but people like Doug Schmell, Tom Brutalo, Jason Ewert, and possibly Matt Nelson were pressing Silver Age books, keys, and pedigrees in order to get 9.8s and 9.6s.

Tracey Heft and Susan Ciccone were probably also pressing books as the end result of restoration jobs.

I have some time to kill. Should I see F4 in theaters? It looks like the best option for an earlier showing.

And if so when's the best time to pee? I don't want to miss anything important.

@flanders I enjoyed the movie. I didn’t leave disappointed. It was just a pretty good movie with most of it being predictable. I just can’t imagine most of us being surprised by a comic book movie. it was the first movie I’ve seen in the theater since a pre-Covid Purge movie.

Save your money and wait for a streaming service.

You can't go two hours without having to pee?

Not without skipping what seems to be my yearly giant blue icee. I don't think I could sit through a movie without a giant beverage and a lot of snacks to loudly munch on.

Does anyone know where the "Encapuslate even if signature fails" option is.

I'm sending in handful of books with an order for verified signature and if it doesn't pass, I don't want them to be graded. I seem to remember a check box with the signarute section, but can't seem to find it in the order process.

There was a Marvel MCU version...that might be as close as you can get.
