I haven't aired it out. It's part of the provenance. Galen130 private msg quote post Address this user

I’m slowly building my inventory of CGC slabs consigned with MCS, with none of them graded after 2020. They are mostly Modern, with a few gems thrown in. I’ll have a few in the July 5th auction. 👍🙂

Another thing I don't understand is how certain people think that the cgc label is the most esthetically pleasing label?

I think it's awful. The CBCS label is much more pleasing to look at.

The new PSA label is hideous. If nothing else, it's red. Red is the international color for danger, warning, or stop. Perhaps it's an appropriate color for PSA after all.

I started ordering my weekly reads from MCS in January. By now I only order once every 3-4 weeks. Yesterday there was only 6 pages of new floppies and 6 months ago there was always 10 sometimes 12.

Considering how far behind my current order is, I don't think they're hurting for work.

I think I have mentioned (complained about) this before, but am I the only one who finds ComicLink's shipping charges excessive? I won a book (didn't mean to win it) for just a little over $100 and it was $25 to have it shipped. That's one quarter of the cost of the book. It will be a while before I tempt myself again by checking out any more of their auctions or sales.

@DrWatson ComicLink I think has the best deal as so long you only buy 3 books. Shipping & Handling: 1-3 $35.00 4-? $80.00 (3%) Buyer’s Premium.
When I do, I try to get 3 books at a time because of the 1-3 book shipping for $35.

I couldn't find shipping costs listed on their site but they do say,
"Cost Savings
Buyers can find accurately graded and competitively priced comic books on ComicLink and save on shipping costs by purchasing more than one comic book at the same time."

Heritage is the worst! On a 2 book order I recently got...

Sub-Total $273.00
*Service and Handling $29.49
Tax $26.13
CC Processing Fees Paid $9.51
Tax on Credit Card Processing Fee ( 8.375%) $0.80
Total $338.13

For this order I paid $123.13 in shipping, handling, buyers fee and taxes.
A total of $338.13. The actual winning bid was $215 for 2 books.
I only (and not very ofter) buy books at ha.com if I really want them.

Compared to MCS, their shipping charges are double to triple.
