Looking to buy some bags for my graded comics. Thinking about going with BCW resealable bags. I use them for my vinyl albums and I like them. What do all of you prefer?

I've been reading both and can confirm they are both very enjoyable. He's also writing a 3rd book for Image as part of his Ghost Machine line called Hyde Street which has a twilight zone/horror vibe that's pretty good as well.

So I use an app called next door. Apparently they are having a drive for school supplies for kids. I looked at Amazon to see what could I do and came across the following. 12 backpacks with basic supplies for like 80 bux.

Yes its cheap, but im thinking elementary school kids aren't going to care if its not name brand. Anyway, it arrives Thursday and I plan to give it to the drive. I figured its a cheap cost to help 12 kids in one shot. Thought maybe some of you have a similar drive going on and could use this idea.

Just curious if anyone else has received a slab like this from CGC? I'm not sure what it is and if it is something that I need to try and return for a reholder. Thanks

Almost every slab popping up on MCS and eBay are new potential banana slabs graded by the cgc. Where are all the older graded books? Isn't anyone selling these? Are we going to be stuck with nothing but banana slab choices?

Apparently not, as there's a few I'd still buy in a heartbeat if I could find them for a reasonable price. If you ask me, the bananas can sit until they rot.

I have noticed this myself...not sure if there is a "dumping" occurring...I've noticed some of them selling for below FMV too. I suspect the word is out and collectors are dumping 42xxx to 45xxx cgc books while holding on to older graded books. Just a guess.

I keep getting notifications from MCS that books on my want list have been posted, but it's just the same banana slabs that keep dropping their prices.

If there was a way to take out all the resubmitted books, I wonder how many books the cgc has actually graded.

I personally know of one book that has been graded four times.

Definitely...and cgc encourage this behavior for obvious reasons by periodically changing how they grade (more 9.9s etc.). It inflates their census and generates added revenues. Complete market manipulation.

I’m slowly building my inventory of CGC slabs consigned with MCS, with none of them graded after 2020. They are mostly Modern, with a few gems thrown in. I’ll have a few in the July 5th auction. 👍🙂

Another thing I don't understand is how certain people think that the cgc label is the most esthetically pleasing label?

I think it's awful. The CBCS label is much more pleasing to look at.

The new PSA label is hideous. If nothing else, it's red. Red is the international color for danger, warning, or stop. Perhaps it's an appropriate color for PSA after all.

I started ordering my weekly reads from MCS in January. By now I only order once every 3-4 weeks. Yesterday there was only 6 pages of new floppies and 6 months ago there was always 10 sometimes 12.
