More of an announcement than question. The Super Bowl will stream for free on Tubi, a big move for Fox's streaming strategy. Fox will stream Super Bowl 59 on its free, ad-supported service Tubi on Sunday. This is the first time the Super Bowl will be featured on a platform like Tubi. |

Here's 3 I own. They look somewhat similar. The "L" isn't as distinct, but he's been around for awhile and probably just didn't want to spend the extra time. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

@BrianGreensnips It does look a little wonky. All of the examples have a distinct curve at the beginning of the "J". I don't see that on yours.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

One World Under Doom negative variant small corner - would this automatically break chances of a 9.8? ![]() |

@Bronte Do you still need to use the service if the comic came with a COA? I bought one recently that I didn't want graded from the vendor b/c it would've been CGC and I prefer CBCS. | ||

@karn9 close... might make it if the rest of the book is pristine and the grader is in a good mood?!?! I think I saw someone list a graded 9.8 that had a tiny corner crease like that. It's a new book though, so it might get the smackdown to a 9.6. Maybe consider finding another copy that is not carrying the corner ding. And keep that one as a reader or give it to someone as a gift. |

@karn9 Yes. Coa is worthless. Anybody can create a coa. Even if you get preliminary scan, you still need to go through the whole process. Keep on mind there are a few possible outcomes. They can fail to authencate. They can say its probbaby legit. They can give you an inconclusive. In which case they will refund your money. I had a book show inconclusive but when sent in, it was authencated as legit. It easy kirby steranko, and sinnot. |

@karn9 Very nice. I'm not saying it should be difficult. I'm just trying to convey what I experienced. Granted the kirby signature was probably what caused the non conclusive designation on the preliminary scan.im just glad it eventually passed. |

What ever happened with that lawsuit Becket had against Mark Thomas sending himself emails or something? Wasn't he going to work with PSA as their new comic grader??? |

I think the charges against West were dropped, but I have not heard the outcome against Mark, err.. "Captain Restoration" as @DrWatson said. Wasn't Beckett trying to block them from working at PSA until the litigation was completed? The grapevine is saying PSA will begin accepting submissions for comic grading in May/June. Interesting to see who the head grader/finalizer, I mean "Captain" will be? |

I'm interested to see what PSA does. I don't think they will really impact CBCS as much as they will impact the cgc. CBCS has a few issues, but the product and grading is sound. It's nothing like the day-glo dumpster fire that's going on over at the cgc. One insider has told me that, "Anyone who buys a PSA graded book deserves exactly what they get." That doesn't seem very encouraging. I guess we'll find in May or June. |

So would you spend some time with the most experienced comic book grader in the biz? I spent some time at the hippies house today. Dropped off another box of books to be listed in the upcoming March 14th comiclink auction. Got some additional grading tips and enjoyed the view. @sborock_ComicLink Thanks for all you help. Hippies-R-Us... lol... |
