| I also use collectinsure. I take a photo of all my slabs and one of the serial number. I use a cloud account to synch the pix off my phone so I always have a picture of all my books backed up. One thing you might want to look into. Home insurance generally covers a very limited portion of collection. You may want to keep that in mind when buying collection insurance. |

| Well apparently I don't have all my ducks covered with collect insure. Dave the brave pointed out that my coverage may be lacking in some areas. I contacted collect insure and it turns out the books are not covered for hurricane damage. Which is the number 1 reason I got insurance to begin with. If anyone has any other companies that they do business with thst might have better coverage for my situation I would love to hear from you. |

| Mine are covered through a personal property add-on to my home insurance, the same as if you had jewelry or something like that. They had me inventory all of my pricier comics under the idea that the basic stuff is covered like all the other miscellaneous stuff in the house. So the add-on doesn't cover my whole collection but the ones over a certain value, and hypothetically the insurance as a whole covers my whole collection. | ||

| I'm usually well into my Xmas shopping by this time of year. I'm not sure if I've just been lazy this year, but I haven't even started yet. I've at least started the 'thinking about it' stage. I think this year, I'm going to go with those personalized comics you can get. Any recommendations? |

| Sooo....hope we are allowed to discuss this as it pertains to comics and not get into the allegations too much With the scandals emerging against Neil Gaiman do we think his comics will take a hit in value? fyi...if you are not aware there are a number of women (5??) alleging various improprieties, the little I've read some are quite bad |

| Indirectly....probably. His actions will impact current and future Hollywood projects....depending on the magnitude of those impacts...the books value will mirror that. If Hollywood projects are outright cancelled....bigger impact to comic values....if projects delayed....probably less of an impact. |

| Yeah...sounds like most projects are on hold, probably the execs are deciding of they should can them or not. I hope Good Omens goes ahead as it is the 3rd and final season and it was a novel he co-wrote with maybe my favorite author ever? Terry Pratchett, and Gaiman has stepped back from whatever his involvement was with the production. - would be a shame if Terry's estate got dinged for this |

| Well that sucks as he is one of my favorite authors. Who knows how much is true but obviously it's not great since he is married and seems like at best he is constantly cheating on his wife. With the nanny of all people. He should know better that is first day rich guy stuff. I hope all these things were consensual at least but who knows. | ||
