| Wait for the 9.8/9.6 value impact in modern books due to cgc's 9.9 pre-screen. I believe you will see 9.8's cracked out for the chance of 9.9's. A big enough percentage of books will make the 9.9 grade (CPR'd or otherwise) to impact the values of 9.8/9.6....mostly for modern/copper....maybe touches bronze but not as significantly. |

| @Siggy Not hardly. The last thing I want is to have to send a book back because their quality control can't tell the head from their ars and get a 9.9 that doesn't deserve it. Then of course there's their case enhancements, newton rings and cracks. I'll stick with the company that has a superior case and has always given me a great product with an accurate grade. |

| I hope CBCS does not do this. This could work in their favor.if CBCS is not handing out 9.9s all willy nilly then they become known as the "harsher" grading company. Which imo is better and adds value to their grading as a whole. If you do get a 9.9 from CBCS then it's because it is a 9.9 and not a 9.8 re-slab. | ||

| @TheShocker I get what you're saying but a grading company doesn't want to be known as the "harsher" grader. The point is to be as accurate as possible...too harsh is just as bad as too lax....accuracy...consistent accuracy is the goal. | ||

| @GAC I see what you are saying and how it can be seen as a negative too. I guess what I'm trying to say is I hope CBCS does not change up. Everything going on across the pond (lower prices, no need of membership,sig verification) has all been done by CBCS. The 9.9 pre screen is what they believe will give them edge. All that's doing is watering down their own 9.8s. Imo | ||

| There's alot of anger surrounding what is a clear and evident staple push on the lower staple causing a color loss on the cover. If color loss on the cover is a 9.9 then.... I really don't have any words that can be written that are less or more than 4 letters |
