 Got out of the car on a country road to pick up this baby girl walking down the street. She was in pretty rough shape and very hungry. No internal chip, her collar had only a rabies vaccine tag and a handwritten name that she didn’t respond to. These concerns made us hesitate a couple days before using the vaccine and vet number to track down the owners. Finally decided to do it. Good that we did. The owners showed up with extended family and a 4 year old boy. The dog got excited when she heard their car pull up. There were tears of joy. Language barrier kept us from getting any details about her going stray. |

| Posted a while ago about a rescue named Tinsel. She's still with us, and will probably stay. She has a compromised immune system...allergies, skin problems, dietary restrictions, etc. She's a sweet little thing, though, especially when she bites my chin and nose in the middle of the night. She doesn't have any teeth. 🤣 | ||

| We brought home four abandoned kittens on Sunday and have been caring for them. They are probably six weeks, no more. Unfortunately, we lost one today, but the others are doing well. We save the ones we can. RIP little one. 🥹   |
