This is Butters, our latest rescue. He's doing well, and doesn't have distemper...thank God. He's a love bug...loves being around people. He has found a home with a boy who is battling cancer. We will deliver him once he's healed from being neutered.  |

We're having our 20 year old roof replaced on Friday before the Texas wind removes any more of it. Therefore the solar panels are detached and stacked in the garage. When the outdoor chair cushions got brought in so as not to blow away, well... you know what happens then.  |

| Our two recent rescues, Tigger 2 (T2) and Tinsel. Tigger is old with bad teeth and was abandoned. The Humane Society recommended euthanasia!!! Idiots!! He's doing well. Tinsel is another matter. She was found on death's door. After emergency surgery for a uterine infection, she is improving. She's weak and has a balance problem when walking, but she's eating, going to the bathroom (sort of) and meows for attention. We are hopeful.   |

| Our latest rescues...barely a month old. They were in the carrier with toys and cat supplies, and put into a dumpster. Someone called my wife and she retrieved them. They are being cared for by someone else who has experience taking care of unweened kittens. Once they are eating on their own, we'll foster them until they are adopted. People like this are rarely caught and/or prosecuted fully here. They better pray they don't pull a stunt like this while I'm around. I don't have a filter when it comes to animal neglect.  |

The other day I had a package delivered that had to be signed for. My lady put Lily on a leash so she would be easy to catch before opening the door. It’s a long leash and let’s her roam 3 rooms and lay in the sun by the back door. Instead she chooses to do this as some form of protest. Little bit of a goof.   |
