Not the best documentary, but it was a bit of nostalgia for me. If you have watched a lot of 80's movies, you will probably find it interesting.

That was a "must watch" for me when I came across it a couple months ago. Great documentary, very thorough and comprehensive I thought.

Glad I watched it. Someone in the documentary referred to Breakfast Club as being the movie equivalent of Catcher in the Rye for our generation. So I watched that the following night, for the first time in decades.

Dark Waters (2019). I think this is the only Mark Ruffalo movie I've seen where he isn't the Hulk. It was a great watch the first time around (can't say much without getting political).

@Pre_Coder cool. Just so you know he doesn't drink toxic(dark)water and turn into a mutant. He remains human throughout the entire film.

You just figured out why Thanos is the villain. That plus all the murdering to get the stones, and all the murdering before that. But that general mindset.

Lazy writing? Seriously though, I have to disagree. I think the audience can accept as plausible a scenario where the stones are able to end half of all life with a wish and a snap. Much harder to imagine a simple "double all resources" wish that didn't result in a laundry list of "Monkey's Paw" type of unanticipated consequences. Violations of laws of nature, changes in gravitational pulls, etc.

@KatKomics Drive ins were awesome in the 70's & 80's. Went all the time (except winter) when I lived north of the mason dixon line. There used to be a drive in here in Orlando until about 93' but alas, it closed down. Just too stinking hot for them down here.

I saw Borderlands over the weekend. I would describe it as aggressively mediocre. It doesn't try to do anything new, and what it does do is serviceable at best. Very forgettable.
