Apologies if this has been asked before. I've been submitting with CGC for my entire grading "career" and finally decided to try CBCS. I usually ship my books with FedEx, but decided to give USPS a go on this submission. CGC required books to be mailed to a different address if you used USPS. I didn't see anywhere on the site that CBCS required the same thing. I guess my questions are: does USPS deliver your packages "safely" and does someone at CBCS sign for the books or is there a drop box or something for packages delivered after hours. According to tracking info, my books will be delivered by 9pm. I'm sure that is after business hours. |

Welcome to the forum, @n01sycricket. I always use USPS to ship my books to CBCS. There is no separate address: I just send them to the "normal" address shown on the invoice. In fact, I just had USPS deliver some books to CBCS a couple of days ago. I've never had any problems with shipments being lost, arriving damaged, etc. although it's possible others on the forum might have a different experience. Folks at CBCS will sign for the books, if required. Hope this helps. |

@n01sycricket - Welcome to the CBCS forum. I have never had a problem using USPS to ship to or from CBCS. If they are at a convention near where you live, you can also hand off your books to them there. Always make sure to fill out your paperwork, include a copy with your order, and keep a copy for yourself. Good luck.

I always use Priority Mail. Fast delivery, reasonable insurance rates, signature confirmation for a nominal fee, what's not to like? Only real drawback is that the maximum insured value is $5000, and how often does the average person ship a $5000 raw book?

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. | xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
As far as after hours goes, I've seen something like 'held' on my USPS tracking when they've tried to deliver on the weekend. They'll just take it the next time they deliver.

@James42 I certainly don’t ship books that expensive. @xkonk Makes sense, 9pm delivery on a Saturday seemed odd to me.
