Main goals every year is to hunt down the last 40 May 1972 books I need for my spinner rack collection.
Still hunting the last 4 TTA between 70-101 that are pedigrees.

And just pick up books that look cool that I'm comfortable buying.

Get down to 20 (or fewer) long boxes of raw books.
Keep adding to my G.I. Combat collection.
Get more of my signed books graded.

I don’t think so? But we can debate about it…

Not strictly a comic book goal

Get a sketch in my sketchbook - I think last year was the first in a long time I did not get a sketch

Iron Man 1 9.0
Space Family Robinson #1 7.0?

always Rangers Comics, Planet Comics etc.

In honesty though unless I sell a few books I think these are off the table for 2024 as I made a decent purchase right at the end of 2023

So far, my only goal is to get a bunch of Eastman books signed in the Fall....maybe get a Robocop #1 signed by Weller at Niagara Falls.

As far as the collection goes, I'm holding steady. Lots of books I'd like to move and a few I'd like to pull the trigger on, but waiting for the economy to rebound a bit in Canada before figuring all that out.

MFKers - I'm happy with the grail I got at the end of December..don't get me wrong... but for so long that book (H181) was out of reach I never seriously thought about owning it and NOW an Iron Man #1 in 9.0 is at MCS for $2600 - which I've been lusting after for a longer time...and the credit I was saving for just that opportunity would have made it a free comic...I now need to build another credit from sales first so have to let what is a good price slip me by....

I plan to complete the last of Gerry Conway's run on Amazing Spider-Man, have them signed and graded. Down to the last three.. ASM 122, ASM 124, and ASM 129!!! Also, I have purchased a few extras that need to be sent in, which will most likely be upgrades to what I currently have signed and graded.

only goals are minor:
1. Try and only buy digital unless at conventions or specific reasons (started last year)
2. Buy a christmas themed cover to get graded. doesnt matter what as long as its christmasy and not dark or disturbing. grade doesnt matter to display at christmas as a decoration
3. Grade 4 more comics at least (the christmas counts)
4, Maybe get a holy grail (Ultimate Fallout #4, New Mutants #98) not facsmile

I think my new multi year goal will be full run of Space Family Robinson and original Star Trek (already have the pricey issues out of the way!)

I'd like to finally hit Baltimore Comic Con this year. I think it's the year to meet Jim Lee.

Prices have significantly dropped on key books I thought I’d struggle to acquire…they are now within striking distance.

* ASM 14 (lower grade)
* Marvel Spotlight 5 (mid grade)
* Transformers The Movie UK Adaptation (high grade)

There are other “consultation” books on my list…but if I get 2 of these 3 it’s a good year. All three would be phenomenal.

Already grabbed the third one…so I have another 11 months to make it happen.

Some of you may remember that last year one of mine was WDCS #4 complimentary variant. One came to market at $15k. I did follows it and was about to buy it when it went down to $3500 but someone beat me.

My biggest purchase of 2023 was this FF #1

For 2024 my goal is just to improve the quality of my collection through continuous upgrading and sell of some of the less desired books of mine.

I have planned to free up space in the collection by selling less in demand books. I strive for a better and more diverse collection, focusing on both classic and modern comics. I even found assignment writing services for myself, I use https://ca.edubirdie.com/assignment-writing-services for this. I hope this all helps me. My plans take a lot of time. My experiences this past year have taught me to be more strategic with my purchases, and I plan to use that knowledge to improve my comic book portfolio this year.
What are your goals?

For 2024, my main goal in comics is to continue to expand and improve my collection. I plan to actively monitor the market, look for interesting items and update my collection with more valuable and rare editions.
