I think of buying an original art measuring 8.5 x 11 inches. Is it possible to have it graded as art like a print? |

Yes, it can be slabbed using the original art option. It won’t have a grade but it will be encapsulated. If the sketch didn’t get submitted through under ASP policies then the artist will not be attributed. You can get the signature verified, assuming the artist is well-known enough, but they won’t attribute the art to the person signing it | ||

Thanks for the reply.I also checked cbcs webpage and it says the art should be 10.25 inches tall by 7.25 inches so I am a little bit confused... It is unwitnessed but I will provide a submission form signed by artist to authenticate the art and the signature |

CoAs, photographs, and testimony are not considered. As for the size, I don’t know if the website reflects the magazine-sized slabs that they debuted last year. Theoretically, they should be able to slab it in one of those |

You can do an 8.5"x11" piece through the Magazine service as Original Art. No grade, but it is preserved in the magazine sized slab. I believe if it is sent in on your behalf by the artist you can get it done via ASP. If you submit it yourself, it would have to be authenticated. Only the signature is authenticated, not the artwork. If the artist isn't well known, they may not be able to authenticated it. Call customer service and ask them to help you. I want to make sure you go through the proper channels. |
