Hello CBCSers! We have a pretty special Golden Age collection, all graded by CBCS, going up for auction in January. The Oxford Collection is being sold on behalf of the estate of long-time comic retailer Mike Van Houten. 52 issues, generally form 1936-1942ish, many of them very scarce. This is great, should be good P.R. for both MCS and CBCS. Of course CGC would never allow MCS to use their forum to bring awareness to an auction of CBCS books. But I'm thinking some of those "influencers" on YouTube and the other social media sites would probably be interested in discussing it? And the timing is pretty good given what's going on over at CGC right now. | ||
