Heading over to the Con. If you see this old guy looking for a reasonably priced mid-grade ASM #129, say hello. Update: A bit disappointing as there were probably fewer than a dozen vendors selling comic books. I looked at three copies of ASM #129. A raw 6.0 for $2,500, a graded 8.5 for $5,000, and a graded 9.6 for $20,000. I passed on all three, especially since I can purchase a graded 6.0 online for practically half the price of the raw copy I looked at (and I can't afford the other two anyway). My "big" pick up ended up being a graded ASM #20 that is a decent upgrade to my raw copy. |
