To answer your question, no, this is not where the comics go to die. MutantMania private msg quote post Address this user
Man I loved the Walking Dead but it did start to get a little stale towards the end.
Same with Fear The Walking Dead.
Now it seems like they're just throwing everything and anything at the wall to see what sticks.
I will probably watch this though.

2.1 The Walking Dead (2010–2022)
2.2 Fear the Walking Dead (2015–present)
2.3 World Beyond (2020–2021)
2.4 Tales of the Walking Dead (2022)
2.5 Dead City (2023–present)
2.6 Daryl Dixon (2023–present)
2.7 The Ones Who Live.
2.8 More Tales from the Walking Dead Universe.

I was a fan, but quit soon after Carl died and then Rick disappeared. The show runners simply didn't understand what the story was about. Rick and Carl were not necessarily the most popular characters. But it was their show. It was about Rick trying to get the world back to something resembling what it was - for Carl.

The comic book followed that storyline. The show abandoned it to save the cost of paying Chandler Riggs an adult actor's salary. So it has long been dead to me now.

As the good DrWatson says above - "I would have thought that cow would have been all milked out by now."

Yes, it was game over with Rick & Carl gone. Carl is the main protagonist in the final comic, so wtf? The show had a horrible ending, just not good. While it may have been an unpopular decision to make, they really should have went with other actors when people decided to leave. Andrew Lincoln wants to return to Walking Dead now? Blow me, buddy.
