A Small Magazine Submission.19972

I got my first CBCS #Soon mags back today. I must say, they are pretty nice and pretty beefy! I don't want to say it was worth the wait because it took so long but you get the gist. Also, I'll have to do a few more subs to get my mag grading to where my comic grading is at. Truthfully, I felt lost trying to assign a grade much like comics 5 years ago.

I had this at 7.5. I knew it wasn't high grade but it had been pressed so I sent it in to collect some extra data. It'll look great in the lab.

I really dropped the ball on this one, so they tell me. I had it at 8.5-9.0 and knew about the minor foxing. I'll have to get out a magnifying glass to find the other notes.

I bought this just for the cover. Apes, squids, babes, what else can a fella say?

Last fall @Batman66 posted a baller score as usual and I saw this in there. I reached out and Gary was cool as heck with me. I landed it and my wife gave it to me for xmas. Thanks @Batman66!!!!!!!

Just friggin cool...

This last one was a personal vendetta book. A guy was supposed to trade me a graded 6.0 of this book in which they orchestrated the trade. I agreed and he got weird right away. Long story short, he trades me this raw copy even though I told him I could best a 6.0 out of it. Basically he acted like my brother trading when we were 12. He even said he'd be mad if it graded higher. Guy got silent the other day when I told him the grade. Salt in the wound, "he felt bad" so he included 30 dollars for me to grade it. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Thank you. I knew you'd like those. I was hoping you'd crawl across them sometime.

They hit me hard on the Creepy #9. I knew about the internal foxing but the rest of the notes are cray. It's gotta be the best presenting 7.0 I've ever seen. Oh well, it's on display on my table at work.
