Just lined up my vendor pass for Baltimore Comic Con. I expect to be there all three days. Who else is going? |

I'll be there at least Friday and Saturday, probably Sunday too. Trying to finish up everything I wanted to do Saturday though since Sunday is opening day for the ravens and the city is gonna be nuts lol

I have not set up at a con since 2029. | PolarisNuclearSS2020 private msg quote post Address this user
I’ll be there on Saturday for CGC SS and regular subs. I should probably go during dealer set up day to hunt for books most dealers are oblivious about but I don’t have the time this year. I do remember going there just to sub to CGC around when the first Wonder Woman movie came out, on a Sunday and I spent maybe 15 minutes looking thru boxes and found a coverless Wonder Woman 105 in a $1 box on the floor. IIRC, I got $95 + shipping for it via eBay BIN. Still blows my mind thinking that I found a legitimate SA DC key for one dollar on the last day of a con after thousands of people have walked through the aisles. |

@jake Sorry I am only seeing your post now. My friend owns the Encounter. They had long tables with lots of great deals on comics and prints. Their booth was right next to CBCS. Spent almost the whole show getting signatures. |

No worries. I sought signatures too. Geoff Johns’s line was longer than I anticipated. I stopped by CBCS but did not remember seeing Encounters. Got to see a couple of friends. Artist Alley setup was really confusing though. Parking was better. Was the con smaller? There was enough room for another convention where the exhibitors room normally was. |

Just got the email today, the books from Baltimore are processing. I think this may be quicker than when I turned in at Galaxy Con in Richmond.

@Retired_11B cgc or cbcs? I'm hoping it'll be a bit quicker this year since it's not back to back with nycc. Last year it took about a month.

@Retired_11B about the same with cgc modern no fast track. Mine were checked in yesterday, in grading today. Friend had his in a day earlier and in QC now so probably have mine shipped by Thursday and receive them Saturday or so.

@Sebastsk8 That sounds great. I saw CGC there, but the last time I ask about signatures with them, they said it had to be at their event, so I just use CBCS. Best of luck to you and I hope they arrived shortly.

@Retired_11B their witness program is pretty much exactly the same as cbcs. They just don't verify previous signatures. I'm excited to see what they come out though since I worked on them.

My first group of books are graded and online. They came out pretty much where I thought they would. I only wished I had better copies of them. But, they were the ones I started my collection with. I did notice that one of my orders may have an issue, so I contacted customer service tonight. We will see if it is too late to get it corrected. |
