@starlord My apologies, but there is no way I'm giving likes to intestines, beef or otherwise.

I've eaten it. It must have been prepared better than coconuts, banana's, or pineapples.

I paid off a lil debt recently and got a jail broke check (no bills) today. Japanese place called "Spicy Tuna". My favorite in town is Domo but this place has different stuff.

Sampler....

The next two pics are 2 rolls each.

Lol Once you get past the fact that you are eating fried intestine, it goes down easy!
ADD lime, cilantro, garlic, onion and salt with salsa and it's off to flavor town! The crispier the intestine the better!

But hey my palette is open to any food!

I guarantee I could hide tripe in hamburger helper for him and he'd never know.

It's okay. I can't find mom's recipe and it was the best. I'm trying to get my grandmother's cook book from my cousin's wife and she's being a bitch about it. They wouldn't even have it if my other other cousin hadn't stolen it from my grandmother's house. They found it in her trailer when she died. She called it a modular home, but it was a trailer. She didn't even cook. All she ever brought to family meals was a raw vegetable platter.

Good luck. We have something similar in our family involving my mother-in-laws recipe’s.

I am lucky enough to have all my great grandma Cignetti’s recipes, however, they are all written in a book both sides of the page with no breaks between recipes, makes it hard to use at times.

The paper she used probably had a much higher relative value back then than it does today.

Try Uncle Bob's Recipe:
8 pack El Monterey Chimichangas laid out in baking pan
Bake 15 minutes at 350
Top with shredded cheese and can of enchilada sauce
Bake additional 5 minutes at 350
Serve with guacamole, salsa and sour cream

@Rbolton, I might have to ask what you do for your mexi rice. I’m pretty burned out of the two different ways we do it.

Do you think you’d like a cilantro/lime rice recipe? I’m not exactly sure that’s a Mexican one but we like it.

It's possible. I do like it when I cook it with a jar of Paul Newman's pineapple salsa and serve it over chicken.
