I had 4 golden buffs and 2 black australorps. Unfortunately the Australorps weren't sexed so I had to get rid of a rooster according to city limits.

Not sure of the type of fence you were looking at, but we replaced our wood slatted fence with the plastic vinyl ones. The neighbors was done close to the same time. Ours looks great still. Theirs looks like it needs to be replaced again. I think it's been more than 20 years

Yeah, I just carried a rooster from the last batch out to the big coop a few days
ago, not sure how long he will stay around.

It was surprising easy to find a home for him. I saw a photo a year later and he was majestic.

We really enjoy the America's Test Kitchen cook book. It's worth every cent. Somewhere in here it says not to add extra sauce. We listened the first time but doubled it this time. We like pies saucy saucerton so it was way better the second time around.

Edit: dinner tonight is tamales frozen from the last batch from the cook book.

Searing prime rib.

I stray from junk food but these pop daddy’s rule. Garlic parm is better than these which is the only other kind I’ve had.

If that black stuff is haggis or blood pudding, no thank you. Otherwise, it looks pretty good.

@DrWatson - That’s haggis, and it was pretty good. Dinner was ridiculously expensive, but also ridiculously great.

Will probably just have some cheap meals tomorrow.
