Where to shop near the Las Vegas strip??19783

| I'm going to be staying at the MGM Grand Sunday thru Wednesday. I'd love advice on where to shop for above-average Silver and Gold Age comics near the strip. I don't mind Ubering around a bit if the selection is better. Thanks in advance! | ||

| None of the good shops are too close to the Strip, but if you're in Vegas, you have to go to Torepdo Comics. They have a great selection and plenty of GA and SA books. Plus you can see the "Vault" with some amazing big books in there. Books like AF 15 and Tec 168, etc. However, if they're at SDCC, a lot of those books might have traveled to San Diego. Still, it's a very cool store to check out. Cosmic Comics is also very cool. They're a great local shop, and they have a decent back issue collection. They do have some GA and SA books, but not a ton. Finally, if you're willing to travel south on Las Vegas Boulevard, there's a giant antique mall: https://travelnevada.com/antiques/antique-mall-of-america/. I haven't been there recently, but there were a few comic vendors in there, and one of them had a ton of books. All of the sellers are very aware of the value of their books, though, FYI. MGM is an awesome property, and if you're looking to see a show, the Cirque Du Soleil show "KA" is there, and it's fantastic. And as much you want to drive around Vegas, just remember we're in a massive heat wave right now, averaging 115 each day, so you might want to just stay in the pool.  Have a great trip! |
