I don't know..I've had some pretty severe issues pressed out....and while colour breaks won't go away it will at least be flatter.

I wonder about the paper stock though.
I had some Mighty World of Marvel where after the press they still didn't really look pressed (CCS/CGC pressing though) and the paper stock I think was the issue...although you can never discount bad CGC/CCS service...but why did I use them you say!!! - because it was for a Steranko signing (before gramps went a bit crazy)

I'd still post in a less obscure thread. Maybe try the pressing thread:

https://forum.cbcscomics.com/topic/15738/page/33/cbcs-pressing-update-vol-1-2/#819

I'd simply state you don't think your order was pressed and you'd like to share photos and discuss it with someone from CBCS via phone.

I got pissed today because I planted 108 double blend exotic variety daffodil bulbs last fall and not a one of those fuc... flowers is yellow with an orange center as pictured on the cover. They're all white.

I'm officially a grumpy old man.

My old man always throwing my stuff in the garbage. Today I was once again like a homeless frantically looking through our garbage cans. This time I retrieved my fertilizer, some pots, a seed starter tray, some other gardening supplies and some power cables I need. The worst part is the ongoing nightmares about him throwing some of my expensive comics in the trash

Whenever something goes missing we ask him, did you throw it in the garbage? He says he never does that but days to weeks later he's at it again.

Hospital parking!
I shouldn't complain (cause health care is free) but I'm going to
Parking is $28 max per day and you reach it after like 4 hours - you can buy a 5 day pass for $50..but the parking office is open Monday to Friday 8 to 4....very difficult to get to during their hours.

This is a current issue for me because Tuesday at like 5am my kid was sick - we thought just stomach bug or something...when we got home from work and we saw the pain he was in we thought - appendix!! sure enough yes it was - so after long hours in ER and transfer to a larger hospital where they can do surgery at 2pm today he had his surgery - recovery is an average of 6 days before they send him home!!!

Of course we got to the hospital at 1ish AM - so office closed - I went home at 5am and back by surgery time - but didn't know of the 5 day deal - realized too late and office was closed - now he is in recovery mode we won't get to him till after work (after 4) and on the weekend (office closed)

Think I'll work from home tomorrow and head their on my lunch break to get a 5 day pass - lucky it's only 30 minutes from home - just a pain in the ass.....even of all the care is free and top notch!!

Ridiculous delays in release schedules. I forgot this was still on my pull list so I looked into a couple. I'll use DC because these two titles seem pretty egregious.

Superman: The Last Days of Lex Luthor #1 was released in the summer of 2023. The second issue was delayed several times until finally being released in March of 2025. The third and final issue is planned for release in April 2025.

Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham #1 was released in September of 2023. This originally had a quarterly release schedule for four issues. The third issue made it out in December 2024 with the fourth issue coming out who knows when.

There is finger pointing from the creators and the publisher. It strikes me as a failure on both the creators and publishers. The creators are contracted for services rendered in a (what I assume is a reasonable time frame) yet the products aren't completed for publication. DC shouldn't be soliciting for issues which aren't done yet but the creators shouldn't be overextending if they're always busy with other projects. I get the pay in the comics industry is not the most lucrative, but damn. Some of the delays are ridiculous. Shooter wouldn't tolerate it.

air pressure....
gravity.....
my wife.....

I was giving myself a hair cut in the garage #3 clippers on the side and blend the top in with a #4...hair falls onto floor and sweep up into the garbage - nice and clean....using a mirror propped inside the garage door...

Wife brings bag of trash into the garage.....air pressure from door opening and closing causes garage door to flex...gravity takes mirror and smash on the ground.....

Ha! I was at the store when Keith was retelling this story about the guy with the Spawn collection earlier that week. They even communicated over the phone after his visit to the store and the clown still left that 1-star review.

Dogwood winter. It's supposed to be 31°F tonight. Therefore, all the plants that might freeze have to be dragged back into the garage.

The hanging baskets are no big deal, but the thing that looks like a mandevilla, but isn't a mandevilla, weighs a ton and requires a dolly. The peace lily isn't all that light either.

Collectors who do not deal with anything graded, but still act anything they say is the absolute truth.

The worst three (based on what I have read and/or experienced):

3) Graded video games = Scams. Because what a seller asks for a graded game, even if there is a legit reason why they got it graded, is not worth discussing. The price they have chosen to sell it for is proof that those grading companies are part of this scam.

2) I only collect what I read, so I don't have to read why you collect graded comics. And if you offer a legit response to why people collect this way, I'm going to go as far as call you "butt hurt" while claiming you did not like my so-called opinion. Even if you did point out that I did not say what I do with my comics after I read them.

1) Loose action figures should only be displayed in dioramas. Those who say otherwise are wrong, and not because they all prevented me from buying nice pieces of what I want. And yet, I am perfectly fine ignoring those who complain about 3P anything even if they use my own logic against me.

Started back at the gym to get in shape and feel younger.

After a short time I now feel older.

I still plan to dust myself off and get back on that horse when I am able.
