| Credit card fraud! Some asshole in a town 55 miles from here just paid their HOA dues with my card! Guess I shouldn't be surprised though, the one Google review says... | Airline travel with fellow travelers of the friendly skies. Waiting for boarding and I'm sitting down I hear we're now boarding people with disabilities. Cool as it takes them a bit to walk down the plane. Next parents with small children. Cool, same reason as above. Then service people and that's cool as well as they've served their country and that's cool. Then I hear zone one and I stand up and there's 20 people just standing there. So I'm standing behind them as the let the first three group of people scan tickets and board. And they're standing there not moving and I'm like are you all moving forward. Old codger from Australia goes yeah we are. (I'm thinking no you're not you're standing their rigid like a stun mullet) Young guy in front asks me what zone I am and I say one and he says go ahead. Bit hard with 20 people waiting to board in line who aren't even boarding. That's my gripe. Sit your fat @ss down until your zone is called instead of lining up and blocking others from boarding so you can drag your oversized $hjt of carry on krap onto the plane before the space is used up and you're forced to do free check in on your useless junk. My rant  |

| I have just had it up to here with password nazis. Everyone today wants you to use their app. Every time you install their app you need to find a user name that hadn't been taken yet and come up with a password. With zillions of apps that will often make you change your password every so often to a new password that you haven't used before most of us end up with several different passwords to keep track of. It wouldn't be so hard to remember five or six commonly used passwords like we did in the past if they didn't insist that the password now needs to include a capital letter, a number, a symbol, and be at least ten characters in length. Even when you tell your phone or computer to remember the password it is only a matter of time until the device forgets leaving you to enter the password you have long since forgotten. Of course you then have no choice but to create a new password that you will need to keep track of. Imagine a world where every time you were asked to enter your password you could just use the same, simple, easy to remember password for all of these apps. Madness |

| @drchaos you're describing a passkey. They aren't used in a lot of places yet but some big sites, like google, do. Take a look when you get a chance. In the meantime I use bitwarden (password manager) to make and remember random passwords and that's been working pretty well. | ||

| FedEx - I was informed that a package containing two comics would be delivered to my house today between 9:10 AM and 1:10 PM. This package required a signature. So my wife and I were meeting my daughter in Boston this morning, and I made sure that my son was home and waiting to sign for the package. We returned home at 2 PM. No package. I check FedEx and it says that they tried to deliver it at 1:10 PM, but no one home (the freaking door was open the whole day and easily visible through the storm door). They said to see the note they left - except there was no note on any door. And the kicker, they said no one home in Johnston, but I don’t live in Johnston (and I checked and they have the correct address). So now I have to wait until Monday, and there is no where to leave any feedback on the app. On top of that, my wife ordered me a new iPad cover on Amazon on Monday. It was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday. I still don’t have it and its delivery status went from delayed to unknown. Why do ALL delivery services suck? |

| Don't get me started on deliveries. We get Amazon delivering and instead of just one delivery. They do the uneconomical way of delivering 5 times to our building in a single day. First delivery at 5.00 in the morning. So management office not open and they're buzzing doors when people are asleep then drop off the packages outside the front door behind a building column where any opportunist porch pirate can grab off the street. Want something delivered quickly and it doesn't happen. Don't care when something gets delivered as it's not needed straight away and it turns up the next day after ordering online. |

| I have security cameras at all the entrances to my house. An app that notifies me whenever the camera is triggered....very helpful for deliveries made where the delivery person refuses to ring the doorbell....which is most delivery people for some reason. | ||
