When selling low value books (Between $100 to $200), where have you received the higher price from?

MyComicShop or Ebay?

Curious if anyone has noticed a variance in price between the two.

If you list your book with MCS, it ends up on eBay as well.

I
believe @DrWatson was saying list them there not auction them. I have personally won comics at a fraction of thier FMV at MCS auctions. You may take a bath if you risk auction vs list price.

@drmccoy74 ok thanks. I think i'll put some on MCS for the lowest price among its peers first. Then do a price drop every couple of weeks. others i'll try out the auction.

The forum's database was updated last Wednesday. This has caused some special characters and emojis to not display correctly.

The web dude is working on a fix. I think by some time on Wednesday.

Is anyone aware that Ed Jaster from Heritage passed 2 days ago from pancreatic cancer?
Ed was with Heritage for many years. I remember getting catalogues from him before the internet.
Yeah, I'm getting up there in years. But Ed was a comic guy like the rest of us. Just wanted to share.

For those who unfortunately are receiving a tax refund (free loan to govt, yuck), any interesting plans for the funds? Comic related or otherwise.

This year sadly I'm only getting a small amount back. Which is good because I made more money but bad because I love big ass tax returns. So this year just a couple golden age horror comics. Maybe a low grade EC or something.

Shame on you.

I understand a few of you like to hand your submissions off at cons. Ive done this before but they were small and signature books. The rep fills out a form and I get a copy. If I have a larger sub and want to fill out a form first to not inconvenience the rep what proof do I have that I left them there?

@HeinzDad - Print out two copies of the invoice and have the CBCS rep sign it and write received on it. I almost always print out invoices before hand, then if anything changes, I just write the changes on both copies.

Is it possible for comic books to have copper staples or is this rust? I've rarely seen it, but just sold a TMNT book and noticed the staples are copper on my copy as well as others that I've looked up.

I don't think it's rusted but are some comics more susceptible to rust?

@flanders copper staples do exist; however, whether they are used in comic books is another question:
