If the Swifties are coming to the comic book market, we all need to rethink our investment strategies. Back to the dreck!

Does a 3 hole punch make a comic incomplete or just automatically lower the grade to a certain number.

@Jgwalters100 it just hammers the grade. it will not get an incomplete grade/designation.

That's what I figured but sometimes the incomplete grade seems subjective. Thanks

@Bronte has the $150 credit been verified by anyone? That part made me question the legitimacy of it all.

I cut out the email address and the sender name. However it did come from cgc as an email sent directlyto me. I didn't want the person to get inundated with emails.

There is no way that I know of to check credit short of asking cgc.

Is there sniping software for comiclink? If not, is the best bet the last minute your best bid and pray?

I have won a lot of comics whose title begins with the first few letters of the alphabet ... like Avengers, Daredevil, etc. I know of no sniping program for CL auctions and I just can't stay up for the auctions that get over past my bedtime.

I don't like bidding on auctions early because it seems like when I do, I invariably end up paying my maximum bid. I'm not saying any shenanigans are going on, but it just doesn't smell right.

I think that about bids all the time. I always bid some number with 69 cents on the end. Then I pay that amount everytime. I always think did someone bid 68 I doubt it.

I had intentions of watching Wheel of Time but then @SteveRicketts said something like it was crap so it kind of put me off it lol!....it was around the time we were all talking about Amazons Lord of the Rings prequel.

I might watch it if I get positive reviews from the forum.

That's what I was thinking.

I can say that Rings of Power is a smoking hot pile of crap. I won't be wasting any more time on the next season of that train wreck.

I thought the first season of wheel was ok. If you like the books it's fine. I think the books are decent like the show. I watched it while cleaning one of those kind of shows.

I have no history with Wheel of Time like I did with the LOTR lore....maybe this might serve me well going into Wheel of Time as a completely blank slate.

Big fan of the books. The books are my fav. Robert Jordan and Michael Moorcock have always been my fav over Tolkien, George Martin and a few others. Here in San Diego, there was a pre-screen for the first 2 episodes, I won tickets to see it at a theatre with lounge chairs and service, and I was totally stoked.

I've never read the books, so that might be to my advantage.

I'm surprised the Piers Anthony Xanth books have never been adapted to the small screen.

Watched the first few episodes and this is the best description of the show. Definitely written for modern audiences.

I've seen the original twice and I'm not sure if this will be worth the watch or if it'll lose it's charm with the added color. Any thoughts?

nah. You seem like a fan of WWBN. You will probably enjoy both versions. I love DC comics so I felt obligated to watch all versions of Justice League. Out of showing my support I suppose

@Bronte you can also pay and ask them to hold onto them if you plan on bidding in the next auction and want to combine shipping. I've done that multiple times since 4-10 slabs is the same cost.

@flanders

That's good to know.

I didn't win a slab. I won an original artwork. I need to save for a commission so I don't see buying anything else in foreseeable future.
