@Drogio I think it's too far off yet. I think maybe mid summer will be when they start really announcing the guests??

I knew there was no chance of breaking 9, so I'm satisfied to see 8.5 on this one. However, I didnt buy it off the rack and I didnt keep it in great condition all these years like you did @Johnnylray ! |

@shrewbeer Still a great grade! ..My question which should be a post on its own: Will you keep or flip? and do most CBCS forum members Keep or flip their slabs?

I keep things that are sentimental, otherwise With rare exception I only flip for the purpose of getting a higher graded one. Example this one, it does have some memory attached to it so I'll keep it. I have a different book coming that got a 9.6 that has no memory, so I will likely try to flip it to a higher grade at some point. |

Seeing the fedex guy is always nice! Got the rest of my RI submissions back today. Loving the new labels! VERY happy with this grade Notes: light scuff marks across lettering front cover tiny spine stress, does not break color This one would have been better with a press/clean but I'm still pleased with it. I half expected in the 7s Notes: top edge wear & right corner crease front cover, partially breaks color tiny wear bottom spine, tiny spine stress breaks color tiny substance stain near top edge front cover, light soiling back cover My favorite X-Men cover of all time, had many of these as a kid. Made an exception to my barcode/newsstand rule for this one as well. Not happy with the grade, and I cant find any of the defects listed in the notes. I see nothing. I'll be looking to upgrade this one. Possibly just send it to The Force for some forging and re-grade. Notes: tiny top edge wear front cover, does not break color light bend above bottom staple back cover, does not break color Overall a good day! |

Steranko was fun to talk to. Class act. Tex was a child-favorite artist of mine. Had a hard time tracking the first edition when I was a kid. Liefeld, child-favorite artist, but now looking back I don't know why. |
